illustrator, designer,
printmaker

Hi, I am Anandita, a communication designer and children’s book illustrator based in London, originally from India.

I love mixing storytelling with design - from branding and packaging to editorial design that feel like mini-adventures for the user.

When I’m not working as a designer, you will probably find me making jewellery from clay, or carving out something messy-but-magical as a self-taught printmaker!

My latest work

I am particularly passionate about children’s mental health, creative learning, and design for social change.

The latest project, Where Did They Go, is an art therapy-inspired grief toolkit designed for children aged 5-7 to help them navigate grief and loss through creative expression.

Designed for easy accessibility for collaboration with charities and used by bereaved children, the toolkit reimagines traditional grief toolkits. By translating methods used by art therapists into engaging visual and drawing-based activities it encourages emotional expression.
The toolkit received immense love from parents, charity workers and members of local communities who resonated with the project. This project has been invited to exhibit at the Stationers’ Innovation Awards.

that's what 'they' said...

The whole process was seamless. I just gave my rough idea and Anandita was quick to present me with multiple options. Each options had her unique idea and choosing the best one was difficult.
